DESCRIPTION:La thématique POPPI de l’équipe photochimie de l’ICCF a le plaisir d’annoncer le premier workshop : «Vieillissement et durabilité des matériaux polymères » qui aura lieu sur le campus universitaire des Cézeaux (Aubière) dans les locaux de SIGMA Clermont les 19 et 20 Septembre 2022.\nCe workshop qui se déroule sur deux journées sera consacré au vieillissement et à la durabilité des matériaux polymères.\nLa première journée de ce workshop portera sur les concepts fondamentaux du vieillissement\, les mécanismes de vieillissement et les méthodes de vieillissement artificiel accéléré.\nLa deuxième journée en collaboration avec le CNEP sera consacrée à une série de cours et de démonstrations pratiques (ateliers) en lien avec la problématique de la prévision de la durée de vie et les relations structures – propriétés.\nSi vous souhaitez assister à ce workshop\, visitez notre site Web (https://www.clermont-auvergne-inp.fr/actualites/workshop-materiaux-polymeres/) La date limite d’inscription est le 02 septembre.

SUMMARY:POLYSOLVAT-14
DESCRIPTION:14th International conference on Polymer-solvent Complexes and Intercalates and 1st conference on Next-Generation of (Macro)-Molecular Self-Assembled Systems. \nThe topic of this series of international conferences was originally centered on polymer systems that are obtained through the co-crystallization\, or in a broader sense\, through the co-organization of polymer chains or macromolecules with solvent molecules. These systems\, which are also designated as polymer-solvent molecular compounds\, crystallosolvates\, intercalates….\, typically form through molecular recognition (intercalates) and/or through specific molecular interactions (complexes). While complexes of this type were known for decades for biopolymers\, such as cellulose/water\, cellulose/amines\, amylose/water\, amylose/organic molecules\,… their observation with synthetic polymers is much more recent which has triggered a renewal of interest towards these systems. The former six conferences were therefore entitled Polymer-solvent Complexes and Intercalates. It\, however\, turned out that more and more other systems\, such as supramolecular polymers (self-assembled systems) and proteins complexes\, were discussed\, as the scientists involved in their study clearly shared common concerns\, and in many cases similar scientific approaches. To acknowledge the broader range of systems presented in this series of conferences\, it was felt that a new name should be coined. POLYSOLVAT seemed to be an appropriate choice: a short name that conveys the general idea of specific interactions of large molecules with smaller ones. The 7th conference\, that took place in Marrakech in 2008\, was accordingly renamed POLYSOLVAT-7. As is now customary\, POLYSOLVAT-14 will focus on the formation mechanisms\, the morphology\, the molecular structure\, and the properties of compounds from synthetic polymers\, biopolymers\, proteins\, and supramolecular polymers. The bulk state\, the solutions and the systems formed at surfaces/interfaces will be considered.

DESCRIPTION:Dear Colleagues\, \nDue to the Covid-19 pandemic\, the scientific and organization committees had officially decided to cancel the 6th European Symposium on Photopolymer Science (ESPS 2020).  Following the successful virtual meeting in 2021 jointly organized by Drs. Liska\, Sangermano and Dietliker\, the 7th European Symposium on Photopolymer Science (ESPS 2022) will be held in Istanbul\, Turkey\, 19-22 September 2022. \nThe symposium will cover all aspects of photopolymer science to develop advanced functional materials. The presentations will provide provide unique insights and are regarded as the research forefront of the key areas in Photopolymer Science. \nWe would like to invite you to participate in this exciting event and experience Istanbul’s historical and cultural diversity.
