DESCRIPTION:Dear friends and colleagues\, \n​It is with great pleasure that we extend our invitation to you on behalf of the European Polymer Federation (EPF)\, the Royal Netherlands Chemical Society (KNCV)\, Polymeer Technologie Nederland (PTN)\, and the University of Groningen. We invite you to join us at the European Polymer Congress 2025 (EPF 2025)\, taking place at the Martiniplaza\, Groningen\, The Netherlands from 22 -27 June 2025. \nAs the most significant European conference in the field of Polymer Science and Technology\, the European Polymer Congress serves as the flagship event of the European Polymer Federation (EPF)\, a non-profit organization encompassing nearly all National Polymer Societies in Europe. Originating in 1986 with 16 European countries as founding members\, EPF has since expanded to include 24 full members and 4 associate members. The European Polymer Congress\, established in 2001\, has evolved into a biennial congress of considerable scale\, attracting an ever-growing and diverse participation. \nUnder the theme « Polymers for a Sustainable Future\, » EPF 2025 promises to be a landmark congress. It will bring together scientists engaged in macromolecular chemistry\, polymer science\, physics of polymers and polymer materials\, modern polymer applications\, polymer reaction engineering\, rheology and polymer processing\, polymer characterization methods\, and more. Please join us in Sète (near Montpellier\, France) June 22-27 (2025).\nhttps://premc.org/ipcg2025/\nThe International Polymer Colloids Group (IPCG) conference is organized every two years. It aims to bring together the world’s leading researchers from both academia and industry to exchange the latest developments in polymer colloid science\, as well as to discuss new directions and future challenges. The IPCG centers around polymer colloids and related topics\, but relevant “non-colloid” topics are also of interest. The IPCG meeting set-up is in the style of the Gordon Research Conferences. All oral presentations are invited presentations of 1 h incl. Q&A (no parallel sessions)\, but all attendants are welcome to submit posters for presentation. It is open for Master students and PhD students in the broad field of polymer colloids. SUMMARY:EUCHIS Multidisciplinary Masterclass 2025
DESCRIPTION:A precise and comprehensive macromolecular characterization of chitosans is of importance in chitosan science\, as the properties of these polymers heavily depend on the degree of acetylation\, the distribution of molar masses\, and ultimately\, the deacetylation sequence (deacetylation pattern). Any scientific work presented without the structural characterization of chitosan cannot be considered reproducible and should not be accepted for publication. \nIn the summer school this year 2025\, we will present state-of-the-art methods for macromolecular characterization of chitosans\, as well as their impact on the physicochemical\, rheological\, mechanical\, physical\, and biological behaviors of various materials based on chitosan. This multidisciplinary program will include lectures and practical sessions\, enabling young scientists to gain a comprehensive foundation to start or continue their research in the field of chitin/chitosan\, with the necessary background for a thorough establishment of structure-property relationships. \nhttps://euchismasterclass.org/
