SUMMARY:CRP 2025 : Reversible deactivation radical polymerization
DESCRIPTION:Dear Participants\, \nWe are pleased to invite you to attend the 11th ACS Symposium/Workshop on “Reversible Deactivation Radical Polymerization” (CRP2025)\, which will be held from 9–12 November 2025 at the Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study (STIAS)\, located in Stellenbosch\, South Africa. \nThis symposium builds on a tradition of CRP symposia previously sponsored by the ACS Divisions of Polymer Chemistry and Polymeric Materials Science & Engineering. The series has brought together leading scientists in the field since its inception in San Francisco (1997)\, followed by meetings in New Orleans (1999)\, Boston (2002)\, Washington\, DC (2005)\, Philadelphia (2008)\, Denver (2011)\, San Francisco (2014)\, and Washington\, DC (2017). Proceedings from these events have been published in the prestigious ACS Symposium Series\, capturing groundbreaking research and discussions across volumes 685 (1998)\, 768 (2000)\, 854 (2003)\, 944 (2006)\, 1023/1024 (2009)\, 1100/1101 (2012)\, 1187/1188 (2015)\, and 1284/1285 (2018). \nIn 2021 and 2023\, the symposium transitioned to an independent POLY event\, creating more opportunities for meaningful engagement and collaboration. This new format also allowed us to explore hosting the symposium outside the US\, and we are excited to bring this event to Stellenbosch in 2025. \nThe symposium will feature lectures\, poster sessions\, and opportunities for networking. We warmly encourage students and postdoctoral associates to participate\, present posters\, and engage in discussions. \nWe are pleased to announce that several renowned speakers\, including Kris Matyjaszewski\, Craig Hawker\, Brent Sumerlin\, and Athina Anastasaki\, have already confirmed their participation\, with more to be announced soon. \nFor further information\, including updates on the program and registration\, please visit the symposium website: www.crp2025.org. Should you have any questions\, feel free to contact us at crp2025@eventms.co.za. \nOn behalf of the organizing committee\, I look forward to welcoming you to Stellenbosch in November 2025. \nWarm regards\,\nBert Klumperman
