SUMMARY:53èmes JEPO - Houlgate
DESCRIPTION:Les 53èmes journées d’étude des polymères sont organisées cette année par la section grand ouest du GFP\, qui aura le plaisir de vous accueillir du 5 au 9 Octobre 2026 au Centre sportif de Normandie à Houlgate (département du Calvados). Elles sont ouvertes aux doctorants\, postdoctorants et jeunes chercheurs qui pourront présenter leurs travaux portant sur les polymères dans un cadre convivial\, qui leur permettra d’échanger autour des thématiques variées qui caractérisent ce domaine d’étude (synthèse macromoléculaire\, modification chimique\, conception et élaboration de matériaux à base de polymères\, caractérisations physico-chimiques\, modélisation\, applications potentielles). \nDes chercheurs expérimentés en provenance aussi bien du domaine industriel que du domaine académique seront invités tout au long de la semaine afin de faire profiter à la jeune génération de leur expertise. \nUn atelier sur la thématique  « Polymères et sport » sera organisé sur une demi-journée. \nhttps://jepo2026.sciencesconf.org/

SUMMARY:Polysolvat-16
DESCRIPTION:Polysolvat-16 is the latest in a series of successful international conferences held every two years\, most recently in Kolkata (India\, 2024)\, Strasbourg (France\, 2022)\, Osaka (Japan\, 2021\, virtual conference)\, and Grenoble (France\, 2018). \nThe conference focuses on the formation mechanisms\, morphology\, molecular structure\, and properties of compounds formed between solvent molecules and/or small molecules with synthetic polymers and biopolymers\, proteins\, and supramolecular polymers (self-organized systems)\, taking into account both fundamental aspects and the application potential. The bulk state\, solutions\, and systems formed at surfaces/interfaces will be considered\, with a particular emphasis on scattering characterization methods using X-rays and neutrons. \nThe next edition Polysolvat-16 will be organized by JCNS\, Forschungszentrum Jülich. We warmly welcome contributions in the following topics: \n\nStructure and morphology\nDynamics and simulations\nGels and aerogels\nScattering techniques and labelling\nExternal fields\nApplied systems\n\nThe conference will consist of invited lectures\, oral presentations\, and poster presentations. As the former editions\, the extended conference proceedings should be published in a special issue of Macromolecular Symposia.
