SUMMARY:Fabrication additive : les facteurs clés de succès pour la production série de pièces polymères
DESCRIPTION:Depuis le colloque SFIP de 2016\, les matériaux et technologies ont rapidement évolué\, à l’instar de la production des pièces imprimées métal\, ce qui permet d’envisager la fabrication en série de pièces polymères pour diverses applications : transports\, médical\, habitat\, sports et loisirs et autres applications industrielles. \nLe passage de la production de prototypes vers la production série sous-entend trois exigences majeures et incontournables :\n– Une compréhension fine des comportements propres aux matériaux polymères\, s’appuyant sur des approches de modélisation à la fois expérimentale et théorique\,\n– la maîtrise des outils de production avec les critères de fiabilité\, répétabilité\, productivité\, HSE\,\n– la prise en compte des performances pour l’application grâce à la reconception optimisée pour 3D\, la simulation et la formation. \nCe colloque sera l’occasion de mesurer les progrès accomplis dans le secteur de la fabrication additive et en particulier de faire un premier état des lieux de la production série de pièces polymères. \nwww.sfip-plastic.org \nLes 3 et 4 avril 2019 à Lyon \nPROGRAMME –  INSCRIPTION

DESCRIPTION:De nos jours\, les matériaux alvéolaires sont présents dans de nombreux domaines d’application (électroménager\, mobilier\, sport\, transport\, bâtiment\, etc…). La plupart du temps\, les mousses polymères sont connues et surtout utilisées pour leurs capacités d’amortissement et leurs propriétés d’isolations thermique et acoustique. La question énergétique devenant de plus en plus importante dans nos sociétés\, les matériaux cellulaires se développent dans les domaines des matériaux fonctionnels tels que les membranes sélectives et les séparateurs sans oublier pour autant les aspects d’allègement de structure.

SUMMARY:MRS 2019 : Symposium SM06 — Nano- and Microgels : Call for Papers
DESCRIPTION:Nano- and microgels are cross-linked molecular networks swollen by the solvent\, in which they are dissolved. Their dimensions range from several hundreds of nanometers to several micrometers. The unique property of the nano- and microgels is their ability to dramatically change shape and volume in response to external stimuli such as temperature\, pressure and ionic strength. For a nano- or microgel with a complex shape placed in the gradient of a stimulus field\, the volume change is coupled to complex deformation patterns and provides the opportunity to reversibly tune the physical and chemical properties of the nano- or microscalar gel. \nDue to the microscopic length scale intrinsic to nano- and microgels\, these changes are taking place at the submicrosecond time scale making them distinct from macroscopic hydrogels. Nano- and microgels provide a combination of structural integrity\, high molecular porosity and soft deformability that sets them apart distinctly from other commonplace colloids. These features offer unique combinations of architectural diversity in nano- and microgels enabling integration and compartmentalization of otherwise incompatible chemical functionalities. From a physics point of view\, nano- and microgels are particularly intriguing and challenging\, since their molecular properties are intimately linked with their surface behavior and inter-colloidal interactions. Their unique properties render nano- and microgels relevant in applications as mediating materials for catalysis\, as sensors\, as building blocks in micro-robotics and for separation process technology. \nThis symposium will broadly cover current and emerging questions related to the physical\, chemical and material properties of nano- and microgels.
