SUMMARY:Session Physique des polymères: de la molécule au matériau au 25ème Congrès Général de la SFP 2019
DESCRIPTION:Le 25ème Congrès Général de la Société Française de Physique aura lieu du 8 au 12 juillet 2019 à la Cité des Congrès de Nantes. Le Congrès Général de la Société Française de Physique offre\, tous les deux ans\, un panorama actualisé et multidisciplinaire des dernières avancées en physique\, tous domaines confondus.\nUnique en France\, le congrès général offre tous les deux ans un panorama actualisé et multidisciplinaire des dernières avancées en physique\, tous domaines confondus. Il attire en moyenne 650 physiciennes et physiciens\, dont 1/3 de doctorants et post-doctorants. \nSession Physique des polymères: de la molécule au matériau \nAprès un âge d’or de la physique des polymères dans les années 1980 avec l’établissement des lois d’échelle des chaînes polymères en solution ou en fondu\, des chaînes greffées\, l’étude de leurs propriétés mécaniques\, rhéologiques ou thermiques\, etc…\, le domaine s’est dirigé vers la science des matériaux\, pour laquelle la structure et la dynamique moléculaire orientent les propriétés macroscopiques. Depuis\, l’effet du confinement des chaînes sur la température de transition vitreuse a été mis en évidence sur les films polymères minces\, et sur les couches greffées aux charges dans les nanocomposites. Une étape importante est aussi le développement des vitrimères\, nouvelle classe de polymères singulièrement différente des thermoplastiques et des thermodurcissables\, qui ouvre des perspectives d’applications inédites comme le remodelage à chaud des composites. Matériaux de la « matière molle » par excellence\, les gels polymères ont révélé récemment des propriétés remarquables telles que leur cicatrisation (éventuellement assistée par l’ajout de nanoparticules)\, ou l’amélioration de leurs propriétés mécaniques par l’ajout de liaisons « sacrificielles ». L’objectif de la session est de rassembler des physiciens et des physico-chimistes des polymères autour de ces questions qui pourront traiter\, de manière non-exhaustive : des chaînes polymères adsorbées ou greffées aux interfaces\, des solutions ou des matériaux polymères massifs\, de la mise en forme des polymères\, des composites multi-stimulables.\nCette session est organisée conjointement par le Groupe Français des Polymères et la division Matière Condensée de la SFP
