SUMMARY:17ème Journée Scientifique GFP Section Grand-Est
DESCRIPTION:Cher(e)s Collègues\, \nCette année\, la section Est du Groupe Français d’Études des Polymères (GFP Section Est) et la Fédération des Matériaux et Nanosciences du Grand-Est (FRMNGE) ont décidé de s’associer pour promouvoir et favoriser le développement des interactions dans le domaine multidisciplinaire des polymères qui va de la chimie en passant par la physico-chimie\, la physique et la mécanique\, jusqu’aux procédés de polymérisation. \nLes dates retenues pour cet évènement sont les 6 et 7 juillet 2021 sous un format hybride. SUMMARY:MIPOL2021
DESCRIPTION:Dear MIPOL Friends\, \nThe Organizing Committee of the Milan Polymer Days congress is pleased to announce that the 5th edition of the congress\, MIPOL2021\, will take place from 6 to 8 July 2021. Like the previous year\, the COVID-19 pandemic prevents us from holding this edition in person and\, therefore\, the congress will take place virtually. Nevertheless\, the successful debut of the virtual edition MIPOL2020 makes us confident of being able to repeat its success. \nAs in MIPOL2020\, the congress will consist of three days of live broadcast sessions\, in which the attendees can interact with speakers and sponsors. \nAs in previous editions\, the mission of the congress is to provide a forum where new scientific information relating to all disciplines of polymer science and technology brings together scientists with different backgrounds\, both from academia and industry. Therefore\, the Organizing Committee will do everything possible to allow MIPOL2021 participants to communicate with each other\, by participating in group discussions and/or interacting individually. \nAs in MIPOL2020\, we have organized a collective poster session involving in the discussion all poster presenters. This will open the congress activities on July 6th. All poster presenters will be allowed to present the poster content orally\, either showing slides or a PDF file in the preferred size. Posters submitted by Young Scientists\, that is\, PhD students and post-doc fellows are eligible to participate\, upon request\, in the Poster Award competition. Keynotes\, invited lectures and short oral communications will take place on July 7th and 8th. \nWe are working to recreate the atmosphere of communication and participation that characterized the previous editions of the MIPOL congress series. SUMMARY:41 èmes Journées de la section Grand Ouest du GFP
DESCRIPTION:Afin de garder le dynamisme de notre section et pour palier au report des journées prévues à Rennes\, les 41èmes journées de la Section Grand Ouest du Groupe Français d’Études et d’Applications des Polymères (GFP) se tiendront pour la première fois sous forme d’un webinaire multi-site du 8 au 9 Juillet 2021. Si la situation le permet\, des sites de présentation seront mis en place sur chaque site universitaire pour permettre aux communicants d’avoir un public. Exceptionnellement\, l’accès et la participation au webinaire seront gratuits*. \nL’objectif scientifique de ces journées est de promouvoir un échange entre les polyméristes de la région Grand-Ouest\, qui couvre les régions Normandie\, Bretagne\, Centre-Val de Loire\, Pays de Loire. Les thématiques qui seront abordées pourront couvrir tout le spectre de la physico-chimie des polymères (synthèse\, caractérisation\, mise en forme et propriétés) pour des applications allant de la santé à l’énergie\, de l’environnement à la cosmétique et de l’agroalimentaire aux transports… Ce webinaire favorisera les présentations orales des jeunes polyméristes (chercheurs contractuels\, post-docs\, doctorants\, stagiaires de M2…) qui s’articuleront autour de trois conférences plénières d’invités prestigieux.
