Élaboration d’une membrane composite PGA-TMC/PTMC/nHA à double fonctionnalité pour la régénération osseuse
Une démarche novatrice a permis de concevoir une membrane composite à base de poly(glycolide-co-triméthylène carbonate) (PGA-TMC), de poly(triméthylène carbonate) (PTMC) et de nano-hydroxyapatite (nHA), spécifiquement élaborée pour la régénération des défauts osseux. L’ingénierie de cette architecture macromoléculaire repose sur la combinaison de deux matrices polymères biorésorbables, offrant un équilibre subtil entre intégrité mécanique prolongée et cinétique de dégradation contrôlée. Le réseau polymère ainsi formé assure une fonction barrière occlusive stricte, empêchant l’invasion indésirable des tissus mous fibro-épithéliaux au sein du site de réparation. Parallèlement, l’incorporation intime de nanocristaux d’hydroxyapatite au cœur de la matrice organique exalte la bioactivité de l’ensemble. Ces charges inorganiques modifient les propriétés physico-chimiques du composite en augmentant de façon drastique la rugosité de surface et l’hydrophilie, favorisant ainsi l’adhésion, la prolifération et la différenciation ostéogénique des cellules souches mésenchymateuses. Sur le plan structural, la dispersion homogène des nanoparticules prévient les phénomènes d’agglomération et renforce la rigidité globale du biomatériau par des interactions interfaciales fortes avec les chaînes polymères. En modulant avec précision la flexibilité du PTMC et la résorption du copolymère PGA-TMC, cette approche contourne les limites de fragilité et d’acidification délétère propres aux polyesters aliphatiques traditionnels. Ce dispositif hybride hautement fonctionnel lève un verrou critique en chirurgie maxillo-faciale et orthopédique, offrant un débouché industriel concret pour la fabrication d’implants de régénération tissulaire guidée de nouvelle génération.

Cet évènement est organisé par la Fédération Française des Matériaux (FFM) qui regroupe 26 associations scientifiques et techniques concernées par les matériaux. Elle s’inscrit dans la série des conférences MATÉRIAUX qui se tiennent tous les quatre ans depuis 2002 et qui se sont imposées comme l’événement francophone incontournable pour l’ensemble des acteurs académiques et industriels du monde des matériaux.
