Deux publications de brevets sur le PP recyclé et les PHA
Le brevet US12735547B2 de Nexam Chemical décrit l’ajout à un polypropylène post-industriel ou post-consommation d’un copolymère d’éthylène portant des groupes silicium hydrolysables afin de réduire l’indice de fluidité du recyclat. La demande US20260275029A1 de Kaneka décrit une poudre obtenue par atomisation d’une dispersion aqueuse contenant une résine thermoplastique et des particules de PHA réticulé, avec des usages cités comme modificateur de thermoplastique, agent antiblocage, espaceur ou agent de matage. Ces documents définissent des revendications de propriété intellectuelle et ne présentent pas d’évaluation indépendante des coûts ou des performances industrielles. Renaud Nicolaÿ est professeur de chimie des matériaux à l’ESPCI Paris–PSL et directeur du laboratoire Chimie Moléculaire, Macromoléculaire, Matériaux (C3M). Il est également lauréat du Prix Jean-Pierre Pascault 2025.

Les RNJP reviennent en 2027 : participez à la constitution de la liste de diffusion
La section Nord du GFP relancera les Rencontres nationales des jeunes polyméristes (RNJP) du 23 au 25 juin 2027.
Ces rencontres s’adressent aux jeunes chercheurs et chercheuses des milieux académiques et industriels, en poste depuis moins de dix ans.
Afin de les informer directement de cet événement, le GFP sollicite l’aide de ses membres pour constituer une liste de diffusion. Vous pouvez y inscrire les personnes concernées au sein de vos laboratoires ou entreprises en complétant le fichier partagé suivant :

Un nanofilm de polytrithiocarbonate devient un agent RAFT macroscopique pour des membranes ioniques
Panpan Zhang et ses coauteurs préparent par polymérisation interfaciale de grands nanofilms continus de polytrithiocarbonate pouvant être transférés sur différents substrats et utilisés comme couches actives de membranes.
Les fonctions trithiocarbonate permettent aux films d’agir comme agents de transfert de chaîne RAFT macroscopiques. Une fonctionnalisation après synthèse permet ainsi d’ajuster la taille effective des pores et la charge de surface.
Dans l’étude, les membranes modifiées atteignent des sélectivités de paires ioniques Cl-/SO4(2-) de 87,1 et Na+/Mg(2+) de 22,0.
BASF ajoute un catalyseur aminé à faible volatilité pour les mousses polyuréthane souples
BASF ajoute à sa gamme de catalyseurs aminés le 1,3-bis[3-(diméthylamino)propyl]urée, destiné notamment aux mousses polyuréthane souples.
Le catalyseur agit sur les réactions de gélification et de soufflage. L’entreprise le caractérise par une faible volatilité et une faible odeur afin de limiter sa contribution aux émissions de composés organiques volatils des mousses finies.
Les applications indiquées couvrent les mousses destinées au mobilier, à la literie et à l’automobile ainsi que certains systèmes réactifs à base de polyuréthane.

Des catalyseurs au lanthane contrôlent stéréoséquence et topologie de polyesters cycliques
Ziyu Huo, Xiaoyu Xie, Huida Duan, Yifan Cheng et Rong Tong utilisent des catalyseurs au lanthane pour la polymérisation par expansion de cycle d’O-carboxyanhydrides dérivés d’acides aminés.
Le procédé donne des poly(alpha-hydroxyacides) cycliques stéréoblocs de masse molaire supérieure à 100 kDa, avec des dispersités inférieures à 1,1 et des probabilités de liaisons méso supérieures à 0,9. La copolymérisation de comonomères de chiralités opposées donne aussi des copolyesters cycliques à gradient.
Les auteurs comparent leurs propriétés mécaniques et barrières à celles d’analogues blocs cycliques et linéaires.
