L’Institut des Biomolécules Max Mousseron (IBMM), équipe Polymères pour la Santé et Biomatériaux (PHBM), propose un stage de Master 2 ou d’élève-ingénieur consacré à des biomatériaux hybrides pour le traitement du cancer de la prostate par thérapie combinée. Le projet, mené en lien avec l’Institut de Recherche en Cancérologie de Montpellier, vise à associer des nanoparticules et des hydrogels pour la libération complémentaire d’actifs thérapeutiques.
Le stage portera sur la synthèse de copolymères polyester-polysaccharide précurseurs de nanoparticules et d’hydrogels, la modification des nanoparticules pour cibler les cellules cancéreuses prostatiques, leur caractérisation et leur association au sein de systèmes hybrides. Deux actifs aux mécanismes d’action complémentaires et synergiques seront formulés dans deux populations distinctes de nanoparticules.

The Institut des Biomolécules Max Mousseron (IBMM), within the Polymers for Health and BioMaterials team (PHBM), offers a Master 2 or engineering internship on hybrid biomaterials for the treatment of prostate cancer by combination therapy. Conducted in collaboration with the Cancer Research Institute of Montpellier, the project combines nanoparticles and hydrogels for the complementary delivery of therapeutic active ingredients.
The intern will synthesize polyester-polysaccharide copolymers, modify nanoparticles to target prostate cancer cells, characterize and formulate these nanoparticles, and combine them with hydrogels. Two active ingredients with complementary and synergistic mechanisms will be formulated in two distinct nanoparticle populations.
