FIP France Innovation Plasturgie 2026 place la transformation, les composites, les caoutchoucs et la durabilité au centre de la filière
Le salon FIP France Innovation Plasturgie 2026 réunit à Lyon les acteurs français et internationaux de la plasturgie, des composites et du caoutchouc autour des priorités industrielles de la filière : innovation matière, transformation, automatisation, recyclage, contrôle, performance des procédés et réduction de l’empreinte environnementale. L’événement intervient dans un contexte où les transformateurs doivent intégrer davantage de matières recyclées, maîtriser des formulations plus variables, réduire les rebuts et répondre à des cahiers des charges combinant performance, conformité et sobriété. La portée est sectorielle, mais structurante pour la France : la transition des matériaux polymères ne dépend pas seulement de nouvelles résines ou de nouveaux additifs, elle repose aussi sur les équipements, les moules, la mesure en ligne, les logiciels de pilotage, les compétences de transformation et la capacité des industriels à rapprocher innovation de laboratoire et production qualifiée.
Une équipe de l’Université d’Amsterdam pilote une liquéfaction solvothermale de déchets plastiques mélangés
Les travaux menés à l’Université d’Amsterdam portent sur un procédé de liquéfaction solvothermale appliqué à des déchets plastiques municipaux mélangés. La méthode combine solvant, chaleur, catalyse et pression afin de convertir des flux hétérogènes en huile utilisable comme matière première pour la chimie ou la production de nouveaux plastiques. L’intérêt du procédé tient à sa capacité annoncée à traiter des mélanges difficiles à valoriser par recyclage mécanique, notamment lorsque les polymères, additifs, charges, impuretés et résidus organiques empêchent une séparation propre par famille. Le pilote développé dans le cadre du projet PLASTICE doit éprouver la robustesse du procédé sur des déchets réels et non sur des mélanges modèles trop simplifiés. La portée est importante pour la circularité, car les flux plastiques les plus abondants ne sont pas toujours les plus purs ; la valeur industrielle dépendra de la stabilité de l’huile produite, de la gestion des gaz et résidus solides, de la récupération du solvant et de l’intégration avec les infrastructures pétrochimiques existantes.
Van ‘t Hoff Institute for Molecular Sciences – University of Amsterdam Plastipak développe une barrière oxygène sans nylon pour faciliter le recyclage bouteille-à-bouteille du PET
La technologie O2Blox de Plastipak vise les emballages PET nécessitant une barrière à l’oxygène sans recourir à des polyamides susceptibles de perturber les boucles de recyclage transparentes. Les bouteilles pour jus, sauces, condiments ou boissons fonctionnelles doivent limiter l’oxydation du contenu tout en restant compatibles avec le tri, le lavage, l’extrusion et la production de nouveaux emballages en PET. La solution annoncée cherche à préserver l’apparence claire, la recyclabilité bouteille-à-bouteille et la possibilité d’utiliser du PET recyclé, tout en maintenant une fonction barrière. L’intérêt réside dans l’éco-conception d’un système complet : la performance d’emballage ne se limite pas à la protection du produit, elle intègre désormais le comportement du matériau dans les filières de recyclage. Ce type de développement montre que la circularité du PET dépend fortement des additifs, couches barrières, colorants et architectures multicouches.
Des bactéries modifiées transforment le glycérol en monomères de nylon 6 et nylon 6,6
Les travaux d’une équipe du KAIST développent une plateforme métabolique fondée sur Escherichia coli pour convertir le glycérol, coproduit abondant du biodiesel, en monomères utiles aux nylons. La stratégie repose sur des modules bactériens distincts : une première souche produit de l’acide adipique à partir du glycérol, puis une seconde convertit cet intermédiaire en hexaméthylènediamine ou en ε-caprolactame. L’ingénierie combine sélection enzymatique, optimisation de cofacteurs, fusion d’enzymes et conception assistée par intelligence artificielle pour améliorer des étapes difficiles de la voie. L’intérêt est double pour les polyamides : remplacer une partie de l’amont pétrochimique par une ressource issue de la chimie des huiles végétales et regrouper, dans une même logique modulaire, des monomères associés au nylon 6 et au nylon 6,6. La portée reste celle d’une démonstration biotechnologique, avec des verrous sur les rendements, la purification, l’échelle et la compétitivité face aux voies établies.

Les secteurs dépendants des plastiques font face à une hausse du risque de crédit
L’analyse de risque publiée cette semaine relie les tensions d’approvisionnement, la volatilité pétrochimique et les incertitudes géopolitiques à une dégradation de la situation financière de plusieurs secteurs dépendants des plastiques. Les segments les plus exposés incluent les emballages, les composants automobiles, les biens de consommation, certains textiles techniques et les produits de transformation dont les marges sont sensibles aux coûts de résines. Le sujet dépasse la simple variation de prix des matières premières : la solidité financière des clients, fournisseurs et transformateurs conditionne la continuité des commandes, les délais de paiement, la qualification de grades alternatifs et l’investissement dans des technologies de recyclage ou d’automatisation. Pour les entreprises de la filière, la gestion du risque matière doit désormais être articulée avec le risque crédit, la concentration fournisseur et la capacité à maintenir des stocks sans fragiliser la trésorerie.
53èmes JEPO – Houlgate
Les 53èmes journées d’étude des polymères sont organisées cette année par la section grand ouest du GFP, qui aura le plaisir de vous accueillir du 5 au 9 Octobre 2026 au Centre sportif de Normandie à Houlgate (département du Calvados).
