Le futur site du GFP se dessine
Le séminaire consacré à la rénovation du site web du GFP, organisé le 24 septembre à Saint-Gobain Research, a été une très belle réussite.
Cette journée de réflexion collective a permis aux membres du GFP de prendre du recul sur notre site actuel, d’échanger sur les attentes de ses différents utilisateurs et, surtout, de faire émerger de nombreuses idées pour construire le futur site du GFP.
Les travaux se sont notamment appuyés sur les résultats des enquêtes menées en amont ainsi que sur plusieurs profils d’utilisateurs identifiés comme prioritaires, parmi lesquels les jeunes professionnels, les industriels et les utilisateurs non spécialistes. Les séances de travail en groupes ont ensuite permis d’aborder très concrètement l’expérience utilisateur, l’organisation de l’information, l’accès aux contenus et aux services du GFP ainsi que les évolutions possibles de l’interface.
Les échanges ont été particulièrement riches et constructifs. Ils constituent désormais une base solide pour imaginer un site plus moderne, plus clair, plus accessible et mieux adapté aux différents publics du GFP, tout en conservant sa vocation première : informer, fédérer et faire vivre la communauté française des polymères.
Ce séminaire ne marque donc pas l’aboutissement du projet, mais plutôt le point de départ d’une nouvelle étape pour le site du GFP. Les nombreuses propositions formulées vont maintenant être analysées et progressivement transformées en orientations concrètes.
Un grand merci à toutes celles et tous ceux qui ont participé aux enquêtes, aux groupes de travail et aux discussions, ainsi qu’à Saint-Gobain Research pour son accueil.

CARBIOS avance sur le financement de Longlaville et valide le recyclage fibre-à-fibre
CARBIOS a publié un point d’avancement sur son projet d’usine de recyclage enzymatique du PET à Longlaville et sur l’élargissement de son procédé aux flux textiles.
La société indique que les comités de crédit d’une majorité des prêteurs du projet ont donné leur accord. Un accord commercial en cours de finalisation avec un acteur majeur de l’industrie des boissons devrait, selon CARBIOS, porter le niveau de préventes à 60 % de la capacité nominale de l’usine.
Le communiqué mentionne également la validation du procédé de biorecyclage « fibre-to-fibre ». Cette étape vise à élargir les matières premières et débouchés adressables au-delà des seuls emballages en PET.
Les diligences des agences de crédit-export et des partenaires en fonds propres se poursuivent parallèlement au montage financier du projet.

LANXESS lance un retardateur de flamme réactif sans halogène pour les mousses PU/PIR
LANXESS a présenté Purventis, une plateforme de retardateurs de flamme destinée aux mousses rigides de polyuréthane et de polyisocyanurate utilisées dans l’isolation. Le premier produit, Purventis Core, est un retardateur phosphoré réactif, sans halogène et conçu pour se lier chimiquement à la matrice polyuréthane. Cette approche le distingue des retardateurs conventionnels simplement ajoutés à la formulation.
D’après les essais communiqués par l’entreprise, le produit ne contribue pas aux émissions totales de composés organiques volatils mesurées dans les conditions considérées et permet d’atteindre les performances retardatrices de flamme avec des niveaux d’incorporation plus faibles que certaines solutions de référence. LANXESS indique également un maintien supérieur de la rigidité des mousses dans ses comparaisons.
Cette évolution de formulation cible les panneaux isolants et les mousses projetées rigides PU/PIR.

La fonctionnalisation des nanofibres de cellulose module les nanocomposites à base de pectine
Une étude d’ACS Applied Polymer Materials analyse comment la chimie de surface de nanofibres de cellulose modifie les interactions avec une matrice de pectine et les propriétés macroscopiques des films obtenus. Les auteurs comparent des nanofibres vierges, oxydées par TEMPO et cationisées par EPTMAC. Ces modifications changent la charge de surface et donc les contributions électrostatiques, stériques et structurales aux interactions avec le polysaccharide.
À la teneur la plus élevée étudiée, 10 % massique de nanofibres, la fonctionnalisation affecte fortement le réseau interfacial. Les différences se répercutent sur la cristallinité, la morphologie, les propriétés mécaniques et thermiques ainsi que sur l’affinité pour l’eau.
Le travail met ainsi en évidence la chimie de surface des nanofibres comme variable de formulation pour ajuster des nanocomposites biosourcés à base de pectine.

Des copolymères amphiphiles à séquence alternée pilotent les interactions aux interfaces biologiques
Une étude dans le Journal of the American Chemical Society montre que la séquence des unités le long d’un copolymère amphiphile peut devenir un paramètre direct de contrôle des interactions interfaciales. Les auteurs ont développé une stratégie de monomère volumineux transformable permettant une copolymérisation alternée de systèmes méthacrylamide–acrylate. Une modification post-polymérisation conduit à des copolymères cationiques dans lesquels unités hydrophobes et chargées sont distribuées de manière régulière le long de la chaîne.
La comparaison avec des analogues de même composition mais à séquence gradient ou aléatoire montre que l’architecture alternée modifie la conformation des chaînes, leur hydratation et leurs interactions avec les membranes riches en lipopolysaccharides. Dans les conditions de l’étude, cette organisation est associée à une perméabilisation accrue de la membrane externe, une hémolyse réduite et une meilleure potentialisation antibiotique.
Les simulations de dynamique moléculaire complètent les mesures expérimentales en montrant que la séquence alternée favorise une adsorption plus favorable et une exposition plus régulière des groupes cationiques vers les motifs anioniques de la membrane.

L’apprentissage automatique guide la conception de membranes PBI à acide phosphonique
Chengkai Hong, Chunyang Yu et Yongfeng Zhou associent un modèle de diffusion génératif, une forêt aléatoire pour le criblage et des simulations de dynamique moléculaire afin d’étudier des membranes échangeuses de protons à base de polybenzimidazole et d’acide phosphonique. Leur méthode génère des candidats et repère des motifs structuraux associés à la conductivité protonique. Les simulations relient le transport des protons à la réorganisation des réseaux de liaisons hydrogène et aux interactions entre groupes phosphate, segments de membrane et protons. L’étude présente une stratégie de conception et de validation par simulation.
